The Melbourne Storm winger – who was unable to partake in his side’s 18-16 win over the Wests Tigers in round 1 due to an ankle injury – officially tipped the Titans this week to beat St.George.

Turner’s tip will raise a few eyebrows given that the 22-year-old only was only recently involved in a contractual dispute with the Gold Coast club after originally agreeing to play for them.

In other games from the opening round of the NRL season, the former Panthers star has picked the Brisbane, Manly, New Zealand, Penrith, Canterbury, Sydney City and Melbourne.
