New league comp ready?

Agreeing to disagree on reasons as to why indigenous clubs were expelled from the Group Two, Four and 19 competitions in northern NSW, the ANSL is now seeking permission from the CRL to run it's own 9-team competition.

The ANSL however will need to provide evidence of strong management, insurance and public liability details before it is given the green-light.

ANSL Chief Executive Michael Anderson is confident the alternative competition will go ahead on March 24

"My feeling is that that groups don't see any immediate problems with sanctioning the competition. We will come back to another meeting next week to nut out some finer points."
