Premiership winning Melbourne mentor Craig Bellamy received another end of season reward yesterday: the role of NSW blues coach.

Bellamy – who won his first Grand Final only two weeks ago – replaces Graham Murray in an attempt to end Queensland’s victorious stranglehold on the Origin series.

However the appointment means the former assistant to ex-Maroons coach Wayne Bennett will have to coach against many of his current Storm team..
