The Windsor Wolves gave their fans a bit of scare at home last weekend against Shellharbour despite walking away with a comprehensive 36-18 win in round 14.

Up-12-0 via two tries to Ryan Russell and Ben Stewart, the Wolves were then found wanting in defense inside the back end of the first half, allowing the Marlins to level the scores by half-time.

Ending the generosity the Wolves easily won the game inside the second-half four tries to one.

But the final forty minutes still had plenty of drama to captivate fans of both teams when referee Gavin West sent Wolves centre McConkie Tauasa off to the sin-bin not once but twice.

A brawl in the second-half resulted in a Windsor player connecting a right hook to the jaw of a Marlins star, giving the crowd more then what they had bargained for.

All the action kicks-off again on Friday night when the Wolves travel to the Crest Stadium to battle the 4th placed premiers, the Sydney Bulls.

There are concerns amongst Wolves fans that Carlag (the equivalent of Jetlag) from the long trip may leave the Wolves vulnerable heading into this clash.
