A 32-14 victory by Seven Hills over Asquith has placed the Demons on 6 competition points, allowing coach Tim O’Brien to remain hopeful in his quest to offload the wooden spoon.
Meanwhile a debut appearance in the finals could be stolen from Belrose following last weekend’s 10-point loss to Mounties.
The Eagles play the Wentworthville Magpies who are only 1-point behind them on the ladder in 6th spot. Can the home side handle the pressure or will the visitors return to familiar territory?
On Friday night, the Demons will travel to Ron Costello Oval searching for their second win on the road in 2007 against Shellharbour.
History says the Marlins should win this contest as the Demons have been unable to put back to back wins together so far this season.
Then again in this competition it ain’t over till it’s over.
