Is anger management still an issue for you as a fan? Then why not turn up to a live NRL game in round 12 and find out.

BRISBANE V PARRAMATTA
Suncorp Stadium, 7:30pm
Friday May 30, 2008
Referee: Jason Robinson
Touch Judges: Steve Carrall & Bernie Sutton
Video Referee: Steve Clark
GRL Tip: Broncos

Brisbane will either drive the nail into the coffin of the Eels season or the blue and gold visitors will finally put together a full eighty minutes of football and live up to their potential. Parramatta will show a lot more attacking prowess with the return of injured centre Krisnan Inu while the home side welcome back pivotal five-eighth Darren Lockyer who will be keen to show Queensland selectors he’s fit and ready to return Origin II. Inu will deliver extra points and that could make this one closer then what everybody’s expecting. The head says Brisbane but I can’t rule out the possibility of an upset because we’re still waiting for the Eels to produce their best game this year and now would be an opportune time to do so.
BRONCOS: Karmichael Hunt, Denan Kemp, Darius Boyd, Justin Hodges (capt), Reece Robinson, David Stagg, Peter Wallace, Ben Hannant, Michael Ennis, Joel Clinton, Sam Thaiday, Corey Parker, Tonie Carroll. Interchange: PJ Marsh, Ashton Sims, Greg Eastwood, Nick Kenny, David Taylor (one to be omitted)

CANBERRA V MANLY
Canberra Stadium, 7:45pm
Friday May 30, 2008
Referee: Sean Hampstead
Touch Judges: Tony De Las Heras & David Abood
Video Referee: Paul Simpkins
GRL Tip: Manly

If you like your footy nice and gold, then this game being played in the nation’s capital is just for you. But will the conditions at night really make a difference to the result of this game? Talk is that Canberra are near unbeatable at night. But from their last two wins in the ACT, Manly took out one in the chilly evening. Des Hasler was not amused by their two-point loss last Friday night against the Dragons and according to lock-forward Luke Williams “It’s been a while since I’ve heard a spray like that”. Will the intense week of training get Manly over the line or bring them undone? I think it can only deliver dividends.
RAIDERS: Bronx Goodwin, Colin Best, Adrian Purtell, Joel Monaghan, David Milne, Terry Campese, Todd Carney, Scott Logan, Alan Tongue (capt), Dane Tilse, Glen Turner, Nigel Plum, Joe Picker. Interchange: Josh Miller, Glen Buttriss, Trevor Thurling, Troy Thompson, Ben Jones (one to be omitted)

MELBOURNE V BULLDOGS
Olympic Park, 5:30pm
Saturday May 31st, 2008
Referee: Shayne Hayne
Touch Judges: Mohamad Fajajo & Steve Lyons
Video Referee: Graeme West
GRL Tip: Storm

The Storm are due to smash a team back into space and I’m afraid the Bulldogs might just be the unfortunate victims this week. We haven’t seen the sort of dominant performance that typifies why Melbourne are a solid chance of retaining the title this season since round 5 when they blew Manly off the park 26-4 at home. Canterbury to their credit held onto their win against an attitudinally awkward Cronulla squad on Monday night but the short turnover I think will leave them physically flat and vulnerable. It’s one of those games where you can feel a loss is looming and there’s very little that can be done about it. Sonny Bill Williams aggravated a muscle injury on Monday night and now the Dogs look like Lambs heading to a slaughter.
STORM: Billy Slater, Steve Turner, Will Chambers, Israel Folau, Anthony Quinn, Greg Inglis, Cooper Cronk, Jeff Lima, Cameron Smith (capt), Brett White, Michael Crocker, Ryan Hoffman, Dallas Johnson. Interchange: Matt Geyer, Antonio Kaufusi, Jeremy Smith, Adam Blair, Aiden Tolman (one to be omitted).
BULLDOGS: Nick Youngquest, Hazem El Masri, Daryl Millard, Tim Winitana, Matt Utai, Daniel Holdsworth, Ben Roberts, Jarrad Hickey, Corey Hughes, Chris Armit, Sonny Bill Williams, Andrew Ryan (capt), Reni Maitua. Interchange: Lee Te Maari, Nick Kouparitsas, Michael Sullivan, Bradley Morrin
NEWCASTLE V NEW ZEALAND
EnergyAustralia, 7:30pm
Saturday May 31st, 2008
Referee: Jared Maxwell
Touch Judges: Daniel Eastwood & Adam Devcich
Video Referee: Russell Smith
GRL Tip: Newcastle

New Zealand recorded their first loss at home last weekend. Does that mean they’ll strike gold and score their first away win at the expense of Brian Smith’s foot soldiers? Both teams are coming off losses and will be desperate to enter back into League’s winning circle. For me this is a toss of the coin contest which will come down to the squad that utilizes their bench better. Chris Bailey is great attacking arsenal to have come onto the field fresh and so I might just title in favour of the Knights in a tight knit affair.
KNIGHTS: Wes Naiqama, James McManus, Keith Lulia, Adam MacDougall, Cooper Vuna, Jarrod Mullen, Scott Dureau, Jesse Royal, Danny Buderus (capt), Steve Simpson, Chris Houston, Cory Paterson, Zeb Taia. Interchange: Chris Bailey, Cameron Ciraldo, Danny Wicks, Richard Fa'aoso, Mitchell Sargent.
WARRIORS: Lance Hohaia, Michael Crockett, Brent Tate, Jerome Ropati, Aidan Kirk, Nathan Fien, Grant Rovelli, Sam Rapira, Ian Henderson, Steve Price (capt), Simon Mannering, Sonny Fai, Micheal Luck. Interchange: Evarn Tuimavave, Epalahame Lauaki, Logan Swann, Russell Packer, Ben Matulino (one to be omitted)
NORTH QUEENSLAND V PENRITH
Dairy Farmers Stadium, 7:30pm
Saturday May 31st, 2008
Referee: Alan Shortall
Touch Judges: Matt Cecchin & Russell Turner
Video Referee: Bill Harrigan
GRL Tip: Penrith

Holy hellfire, Batman! The betting agencies rate Penrith as outsiders because the Cowboys are playing their first game under caretaker coach Ian Millward. Certainly fresh ideas and communication with the Townsville players will have an impact but I think the Panthers will win this game on skill, confidence and consistency. The Cowboys are in such a slump it’s going to take them time to get back on their feet. Penrith will clean up.
COWBOYS: Ashley Graham, Mark Henry, Ben Harris, Ben Farrar, John Williams, Travis Burns, Johnathan Thurston (capt), Ray Cashmere, Aaron Payne, Carl Webb, Steve Southern, Daniel Abraham, Luke O'Donnell. Interchange: Justin Smith, Sam Faust, Jacob Lillyman, Shane Tronc
PANTHERS: Rhys Wesser, Luke Rooney, Michael Jennings, Brad Tighe, Jarrod Sammut, Maurice Blair, Luke Lewis, Tony Puletua, Luke Priddis, Petero Civoniceva (capt), Frank Pritchard, Trent Waterhouse, Nathan Smith. Interchange: Paul Aiton, Joseph Paulo, Matthew Bell, Josh Bateman, Brendan Worth (one to be omitted)
SOUTH SYDNEY V ST GEORGE
Stadium Australia, 2:00pm
Sunday June 1st, 2008
Referee: Gavin Badger
Touch Judges: Peter Kirby & Jeff Younis
Video Referee: Sean Hampstead
GRL Tip: St George

St George to win. That’s all I’ll say to alleviate some of the suffering all you Rabbitohs fans are enduring. Unless Craig Wing comes back prematurely I just can’t see the Rabbitohs getting the wood on the Dragons who have found plenty of long lost pride in recent weeks.
RABBITOHS: Nathan Merritt, John Tamanika, Nigel Vagana, Fetuli Talanoa, Shannon Hegarty, Dean Widders, George Ndaira, Luke Stuart, Issac Luke, Roy Asotasi (capt), David Kidwell, David Faalogo, John Sutton. Interchange: Beau Falloon, Shannan McPherson, Manase Manuokafoa, Michael Greenfield
DRAGONS: Brett Morris, Jason Nightingale, Mark Gasnier (capt), Matt Cooper, Josh Morris, Jamie Soward, Ben Hornby, Justin Poore, Dean Young, Jason Ryles, Beau Scott, Ben Creagh, Stuart Webb. Interchange: Kirk Reynoldson, Dan Hunt, Chase Stanley, Rangi Chase, Lagi Setu, Ricky Thorby (two to be omitted)
CRONULLA V GOLD COAST
Shark Park, 3:00pm
Sunday June 1st, 2008
Referee: Ben Cummins
Touch Judges: Gerard Sutton & Paul Holland
Video Referee: Phil Cooley
GRL Tip: Gold Coast

Cronulla will be filthy on themselves after last week’s dismal effort against the Bulldogs. But they will be looking to bounce back against the Gold Coast, a team that scores more points per game on average yet strangely enough leaks almost the same amount in defence. Look at the goal kicking stats. The Titans slot over 80 per cent of their attempted conversions while the Sharks only boot 65 per cent. That will be the difference in this game.
SHARKS: Brett Kearney, David Simmons, Ben Pomeroy, Fraser Anderson, Mitch Brown, Brett Seymour, Brett Kimmorley, Adam Peek, Isaac De Gois, Kade Snowden, Paul Gallen, Luke Douglas, Greg Bird. Interchange: Danny Nutley, Ben Ross, Jayson Bukuya, Terence Seu Seu
TITANS: Preston Campbell, Jordan Atkins, Luke O'Dwyer, Brett Delaney, Brenton Bowen, Mat Rogers, Scott Prince (capt), Luke Bailey (capt), Nathan Friend, Brad Meyers, Anthony Laffranchi, Mark Minichiello, Ashley Harrison. Interchange: Aaron Cannings, Michael Hodgson, Josh Graham, Ben Jeffery, Michael Henderson (one to be omitted)
