Naughty English Super League fans have been told in no uncertain terms to take their tickets for this weekend’s Grand Final off Ebay.

Such is the demand to witness Leeds and St Helens smash each other at Old Trafford that some tickets have started to appear on internet auction sites.

Some of those tickets are selling at four-times their face value.

The Rugby Football League is far from over the moon about the situation and has told fans to take their grand final tickets off ebay.

According to Craig Spence, RFL Communications Manager, the idea of buying tickets via an online auction site is pretty pointless.

“Firstly the terms and conditions on all of our tickets state that they cannot be resold.

“Secondly our box office still has tickets available for Saturday, so why would you bother paying silly money for them off internet auction sites, when you can buy them at normal prices?"

Spence added: "Anyone we track down will have their tickets cancelled.

Do you agree with the stance the Rugby Football League has taken or should fans be allowed to sell overpriced tickets to people who get a rush out of being ripped off?
