Move over Russell Crowe. Neighbours star Toadfish is in town and he's backing NRL premiers Melbourne do a number on Leeds in this year's World Club Challenge.

Despite the fact that he's a self-confessed Sydney Roosters fan, Maloney has promised to be glued to the TV at the end of February to cheer on the Storm against the Rhinos in the match which will decide who is the best Rugby League club in the world.

"I have to admit that I don't know too much about Leeds, but what I do know is that they'll be in for an extremely difficult game against the Storm as they're pretty good. You don't become champions of Australia by being an average side", Ryan said.

Both teams meet at Elland Road on February 29 with the Aussies looking to win back the Challenge Cup trophy for the first time since the Roosters thrashed St Helens 38-0 in 2003.

Do you want to see any members of the Melbourne Storm appear on Neighbours in the future? Tell us who and what role you think they should play.
